A thank you to Ol' Joe, CM About: David and Effie Heskamp Dear Ed, What a pleasant surprise to "open" my Sunday morning edition of ColumbiaMagazine and find a photo of my parents, David and Effie Heskamp, on the front page. They were an attractive couple, weren't they? Actually, Mother would have been "only" 99 this year...born 1910, but who's counting? Last year, we had a great birthday party for her. Thanks to Ol' Joe and to CM for this remembrance. Sincerely, s/Ann Heskamp Curtis Thanks. The photo is one of our favorites, and they were such a memoraby attractive paid. And, I understand, it will have a prominent place in Ol' Joe's gallery. Thanks for your understanding on the bad arithmetic. We've corrected the error. I guess it would be better not to let people know that Effie Heskamp was my ACHS general math class teacher. And a good one, for those capable of learning. -EW This story was posted on 2009-05-17 11:49:05
