Two vehicle collision in Marion County results in injuries By Tpr. Billy Gregory, Public Affairs Officer Kentucky State Police Post 15, Columbia, KY (MARION CO, KY) – A collision occurred at 3:14pmET, Thursday, May 14, 2009, in the city limits of Lebanon, KY on Walnut ST. Jerry Childers of Gravel Switch KY, age 18, was operating a 93 Chevy PU . He was wearing a seat belt and was treated at Springview Hospital. A passenger in Childers vehicle, Leslie Stearman of Lebanon KY, age 18 was not wearing a seat belt and was treated at Springview Hospital. Christopher Downs of Lebanon KY was operating a 89 Chevy PU . He was wearing a seat belt and not injured. Childers was traveling south on Walnut ST. Downs was parked with caution lights on picking up trash for the city of Lebanon. Childers rear ended Downs.
