Tucker's Station now has shiny new Address Marker EMS can now find 1535 Bull Run Road fast! Armitages offer $5.00 coupon to her neighbors on Bull Run Road until May 24, 2009, to spend at Tucker's Station garden store for anyone buying a new Address Marker by Barbara Armitage Wayne loves to do anything that could possibly involve a power tool so it was easy to get him to attach our new address sign to the mail box out at Tucker's Station. We think that spending $10.00 on something that could potentially save a life is a great deal. As I mentioned Wayne loves to play with power tools and the bigger the better. I can't always be there to provide the adult supervision that he needs so it makes me feel better to know that when (not if) he hurts himself EMS will be able to find our house fast. Bull Run Road now sports quite a few of these trendy new address signs. We still have a few mail boxes to go so I am challenging our neighbors on Bull Run to get theirs up making us the first road in Adair County to be complete. If my Bull Run neighbors act fast I will give them a $5.00 gift certificate to spend at Tucker's Station when they bring their new blue sign by before May 24th. On another note, as a person who has lived all over the world and loves to travel I wish that address numbers and street signs were mandatory. I can't tell you just how frustrating it is to spend hours looking for a business or someone's home. I do however fear that I am becoming "assimilated" as Ed Waggener puts it because the directions to Tucker's Station now include the line "our house is just down the road a bit from where Bruce Willis's barn blew down."
