Heavy rains create Gradyville Flood 2009; county road problems By Ed Waggener Heavy overnight rains produced a few problems in Adair County. On Old Gradyville Road, Big Creek was over a bridge, Betsy Fausnaugh reported this morning, Friday, May 8, 2009. It was enough to cause some motorists to turn around and not attempt a crossing, she said. Jobe Darnell, Superintendent of the Adair County Road Department said that his crews are looking at problems from at least five areas of the county this morning.
