Shakespeare drama camp coming to Camp Casey Students in K-5 CWC and JAIS are eligible for unique theatrical training in four week course by The Kentucky Shakespeare Festival, coming to Camp Case this summer. Space is limited, however, and interested parents are urged to enroll children as quickly as possible By Dana Harmon, Camp Casey Director This summer a unique opportunity will be made available to students in grades K-5 from Colonel William Casey Elementary and John Adair Intermediate. The Kentucky Shakespeare Festival will be bringing a four week drama camp to CWC beginning on June 8, 2009 and running through July 3, 2009. Participants will meet Monday through Friday from 9:00amCT to 2:00pmCT each day. Breakfast and lunch will be provided at no cost to the students. There will be a couple of other surprise treats for our participants too. Students will audition for parts in a childs' version Shakespeare play, design and build props, play games and rehearse for a community performance of their production towards the end of camp. This camp is free to participants and is sponsored by 21st CCLC-Camp Casey, Family Resource Center, Lindsey Wilson College, Adair County Public Library and Title I. Space is limited!
