Overcorrection a factor in KY 551 crash Tpr Billy Gregory, Public Affairs Officer Kentucky State Police Post 15, Columbia, KY ADAIR CO, KY Tpr. Clint Walker is investigating a collision that occurred at 2:45pmCT, Tuesday, April 28, 2009, 4 miles north of Columbia, KY, on KY Highway 551. Jim G. Burris, 80, Campbellsville, KY, was operating a 1994 GMC dump truck southbound on KY 551 when he lost control of the vehicle and ran off the right shoulder of the roadway. Burris then overcorrected, ran off the left shoulder of the roadway and struck a utility pole, causing the vehicle to overturn in a pond. Burris was transported by Adair County EMS to the Westlake Regional Hospital, 901 Westlake Drive, Columbia, KY, where he was treated and released.
