Billie Kay Wilson receives AC Retired Teachers award Click on headline for story and photo By Duane Bonifer An Adair County resident received good news Tuesday. Billie Kay Wilson of Columbia was named the 2009 recipient of the Adair County Retired Teachers Scholarship. A 2002 Adair County High School graduate, Wilson is an education junior who is specializing in grades five through nine with an emphasis in mathematics and science. Present for the presentation were Ludora Perkins, Elizabeth Webb, Jean McLean, Margie Coffey, Wilson, Joyce Durham, Rita Marhsall, Bobbie Coomer and Carolyn Hancock; LWC Associate Professor of Education Larry S. Ennis, Alice Hadley, Rita Campbell, Juanita McQueary, Mildred Sandusky, Shirley Grider, Lewis Haynes, Shirley Harris, LWC Associate Professor of Education Melissa Saunier-Arnold and LWC Associate Professor of Education Janette Raltson.
