Cyclist riding Honda injured in Knifley RD, Columbia, KY crash Cited for not having motorcycle operator's license, failure to comply with helmet law. Special to ColumbiaMagazine.com The Adair County Sheriff's Department investigated a single vehicle injury accident which occurred at approximately 1:15pmCT, Monday, April 27, 2009, four miles from Columbia, KY on Knifley Road. According to the sheriff's office report, Jeremy Grierson of Columbia, KY, was operating a 2000 Honda Motorcycle and lost control in a curve. Grierson traveled across into the southbound lane, dropped off the outside left shoulder of the roadway, went down an embankment into a ditch, and overturned. Grierson was transported to Westlake Regional Hospital in Columbia, KY, by Adair County EMS.Grierson. He was cited for no motorcyce operator's license and failure to comply with helmet laws over 21 years of age.
