Notice on Events submissions: Please include street and number

As a courtesy to our readers, and as a public safety concern, we are asking that all events notices have a street and street number included with the announcement. If you do not know the street number, you can get it by calling your 911 center and ask for the Address Coordinator.

In Adair County, that number is (270) 384-4760.

To everyone: Thanks for the response. The street number had originally been requested as a navigational tool, to allow those who are unfamiliary with the area to have a quick way to Google for directions, but since working to improve directions, we've learning, from emergency responders, how important it is to have street numbers with all addresses for safety's sake.We hope those submitting events for the events calendar will remember to include the street and number with all subsequent announcment submissions. Comments on this subject are welcome.
