Ann Curtis: Museum could encompass sports, business artifacts

About: "Adair Co Courthouse should be a museum"

To ColumbiaMagazine.com

I like Mary Ann Garnett Dowling''s suggestion for a museum in the Courthouse. "Historical items" could also encompass artifacts such as high school basketball uniforms and jackets from the 1950s, memorabilia from businesses on the Square over the years and other more recent nostalgia.

The old Courthouse building seems plenty large enough to house a coffee shop/photography gallery as well.

I'd like to have a sandwich while I'm there, too.

Oh, and we will still call it The Courthouse, won't we?
