Letter: Earth Hour is extremely important Against opinion expressed int: "Contrarian may turn on all lights during Earth Hour" To ColumbiaMagazine.com: Wow! I couldn't disagree with a person more.I think it is extremely important to save our energy, no matter what price we pay for it, and I am in disbelief, given all the scientific facts that support Global Warming that people are still in denial. I have two young children and I think anything we can do to make life easier on them is worth the trouble. We may not be able to change everything but we certainly can try and try to give them a cleaner environment to grow up in. s/Kristy Keene This story was posted on 2009-03-29 01:12:00
