2009-03-19 - Jamestown ST, Columbia, KY - Photo by Ed Waggener. A SLUDGE SPILL from a truck carrying material from the car wash on Jamestown Hill created a gom which required the Columbia Fire Department to be on the scene with 12 men for 15 minutes, cleaning it up, Chief Mike Glasgow said. The cleanup shut down Jamestown ST from around 4:00-4:15pmCT, according to Chief Mike Glasgow. A grand traffic jam was created during the time, reminiscent of the olden times before the opening of the Columbia Western Bypass.
