Letter: Adair County just wants it more than anyone else

About: "The Champions return ACHS Boys basketball win 5th Region"

To ColumbiaMagazine.com:

As you know I have lived International in Central America and Mexico for basically the last seven years but finished my project in Mexico the end of last year. However, I have been able to keep up with Adair County thanks to ColumbiaMagazine.com.

It has been an exciting return in semi-retirement going to all the ball games the last few months. The win over Bardstown in the regular season in overtime was excellent.

Then going into the regional as the runner up in the district then overcoming three teams that though they would overrun us and felt that they would go the the "Sweet Sixteen" was just out of the World!I could hardly contain myself, I sure my blood pressure rose several points as I watched the boys play their hearts out. I just hope in the state tournament we go into overtime because the boys have really showed "their stuff" in all the overtimes.

As Corey told me, they just wanted it more than anyone else. They sure showed that was true. My hat off to all the players and coaches.

Great Job and so glad I will be able to see them play in the "Sweet Sixteen."

In Great Appreciation,s/Bobby D. Morrison
