Obituary: Mrs. Mabel Parson Martin, 91, Green Co., Ky

Mrs. Mabel Parson Martin, 91, of Campbellsville and Greensburg, KY, passed away on Monday, February 16, 2009, in Brandon, MS.

The funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, February 19, 2009, at 10amCT, at the Cowherd and parrott Funeral Home, 206 S. Main Street, Greensburg, KY, with burial to follow in the Campbellsville Memorial Garden, 3878 Greensburg RD, Campbellsville, KY. The family requests visitation from 5:00-8:00pmCT on Wednesday, February 18, 2009, at the funeral home.


She is survived by the following:
  • A son and daughter in law: Alvin Ray and Malynn Kessler Martin, Brandon, MS

  • Four grandchildren: Alvin Ray Martin II and his wife, Christine; Nelia Ann Toups and her husband Todd; and Christopher W. Martin, all of Brandon, MS; and Timothy Lee Martin and his wife Kim, Edmond, OK

  • Five great grandchildren

  • A brother and two sisters in law: Willie Frank and Imogene Parson, Greensburg, KY, and Pauline Parson, Campbellsville, KY

  • And a host of other relative and friends
Cowherd & Parrott Funeral Home, Greensburg, KY, is in charge of arrangements.
