Obituary: Maggie Conover, 92 Mrs. Conover was a member of a prominent, old line Glens Fork area family and is warmly remembered by the many, many friends she made in her 27 years service with Russell & Company in Columbia. She was of the Nazarene faith Maggie Conover, 92, 105 West Guardian Street, Columbia, KY, passed away Wednesday. February 4, 2009 at 2:35amCT at the Summit Manor Nursing Home, Columbia, KY after several weeks illness. The funeral service will be Friday, February 6, 2009 at 1:00pmCT at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg ST, Columbia, KY, with Rev. Bobby Grant and Bro. Eric Gilbert the officiating clergy. Interment will be in the Columbia Cemetery. The family request visitation after 2:00pmCT on Thursday, February 5, 2009, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home. She was born April 16, 1916, the daughter of the late Granville Tildon and Minnie Mae Sparks Aaron of Adair County, KY. She was preceded in death by her husband, Buel Conover on November 24, 1982, and by two sons, James Kenneth Conover in 1937 and Carl Gene Conover in 1947. Two brothers, Samuel Aaron & Paul Aaron, also preceded her in death. She is survived by the following:
