Santa arrives for 8th Annual Christmas in Gradyville, KY Click on headline for complete story, photos, and links By Frances Salyers We had our 8th Annual Christmas in Gradyville, KY yesterday , afternoon when Santa Claus arrived at our store, D & F Grocery & Deli, to be met by the excitement of about 35 kids and grownups. Everybody got a chance to talk with Santa, from his own little girl to big kids like Dale Hayes, who got a new hairpiece, which Santa remember to bring with him, and Tommy Hardison, who got in a request for a new motorcycle. Everyone enjoyed the occasion, it seemed. I don't know who had more fun. We especially enjoyed having many members of Gradyville's Amish Community, and were honored, as always, to have Gradyville's own Paul Hayes, long-time editor of the Adair Progress newspaper, who is always is back home for important events here. A good time was had by all. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to everyone from Daril, Frances, and Natasha at D&F Click here for pictures and stories from Christmases past and other Gradyville Related material Click here for a photo of a great moment in Gradyville history, when "Team Gradyville" wowed Columbia with a great Christmas parade float.
