ACES gets flag that was flown in Afghanistan on Veterans Day By Alice Curry Twenty-five Adair County veterans attended the Veteran's Day program at ACES. The ceremony opened with the Pledge of Allegiance lead by Missy Garmon's class. Michaela Walker presented a flag to Principal Robbie Harmon that was flown in Afghanistan. Michaela's father is currently serving in Afghanistan. Various ACES students took part in the activities, they were: Brandon Breeding, Rikki Michelle Neat, Hannah Absher, Rebecca Montgomery, Cole Cooper, Tiara Holmes and Samantha Sinclair. Cards of appreciation were made by Mrs. Marian Grant's Social Studies classes and they were presented to the veterans as they were individually recognized.
