David Collins re-opens Flatwoods Grocery & Deli

Flatwoods Grocery & Deli, 3550 Burkesville Road, Burkesville Road/KY 61 South, has re-opened under the management of David Collins. Collins is now serving short order breakfasts, lunches and suppers and is re-stocking the grocery shelves.

His father Greg Collins, said that he expects David will have the store in full swing by Friday, November 15, 2008. David Collins is continuing the traditional name of the store. "This is what people know the store by," his father said. "and the sign was already up. David didn't see any need to change it."

The store's phone number remains the same, (270) 378-6610, too.

The first customer at the store was Flatwoods community leader Elmo Petty.

The management expects business to be brisk with construction work underway on the stretch of KY 61 south between the Jumping Off Place and Sparksville, KY.
(ADV) Watch for Flatwoods daily specials soon in "What's Cooking in Adair County."(ADV)
