LWC volleyball's winning streak ends with Georgetown loss By Chris Wells, LWC Sports Information Director The Lindsey Wilson College volleyball team's seven-match winning streak was halted tonight as No. 10-ranked Georgetown (Ky.) College beat the Blue Raiders 3-0 at Biggers Sports Center. Lindsey Wilson (13-3 overall and 4-2 in the Mid-South Conference) committed 21 hitting errors -- the most the season in a three game match -- en route to the 25-22, 25-16, 25-23 loss. Georgetown -- winners of 11 straight -- improves to 13-5 and 6-0 in the MSC with the win. Lindsey Wilson freshman Mirjam Pfyl led the Blue Raiders with seven kills. Freshman Sophie Altermatt added six in the loss. Junior Sarah Kline led the team with 21 assists on the night and freshman Rachael Anderson led the way with 19 digs.
