Sheriffs make marijuana arrest POLICE REPORTS Officers from the Adair County Sheriffs Office executed a search warrant at a residence in the Portland area on September 23, 2008. Arrested and charged with possession of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance 2nd degree and possession of drug paraphenalia was 33 year old Richard Goble of Columbia. Officers seized several ounces of marijuana and items of drug paraphenalia. Investigation is ongoing in the matter. ADAIR CO. SHERIFF, Ralph Curry, 500 Public Square, Columbia, Ky. 42728.
