ACPL receives books from Brownstone Foundation

The Adair County Public Library has received a shipment of 100 childrens books fromt he Brownstone Foundation, a private non-profit foundation located in New York City. The Brownstone Foundation is interested in fostering early reading, a love of books and encouraging parents and children to read together.

These books range from pre-kindergarten level through early readers and most of them focus on cultural diversity issues. The library is very thankful to the Brownstone Foundation for this unique opportunity to serve our youngest patrons with beautiful books that will be enjoyed for years to come. -LEE ANN JESSEE, Director, Adair County Public Library.
