Green River Lake cleanup this morning The Green River Lakes Annual Lakeshore Cleanup Event will be today Saturday, September 20, 2008, with registration starting at 9:00amET/8:00amCT. Volunteers should show up at any of the following sites: Smith Ridge Boat Ramp, Holmes Bend Boat Ramp, the State Park Pavilion, and Site One Boat Ramp. Lunch and prize giveaway at will be at 12:30pmET/11:30amCT, at Site One boat ramp located just off KY 55. Directions to Site One: Out of Columbia take 55 north towards Campbellsville, turn right onto Lake Road towards the Dam and Visitor Center. Then take a right at the sign for Site One Boat Ramp and proceed to the picnic shelter.
