Hurricane Center says Ike will bring Sunday storms here Adair County may get thunderstorms September 14, 2008 as aftermath of Ike The National Weather Service's National Hurricane Center has issued a potential 3-day track area for the aftermath of Hurricane Ike, which indicates that the northern counties of Kentucky will receive sustained winds of under 39 miles per hour during the late night of Saturday, September 13, and through 7:00pm Sunday, September 14, 2008.
