Two injured in two car crash on Hale's Highway POLICE REPORTS A two vehicle accident which occurred Monday afternoon, September 8, 2008, at 2:40pm, two miles west of Russell Springs, KY at the junction of French Valley Road and KY 379 Hale's Highway resulted in injuries to the driver of one vehicle and a passenger in another. Megan Coe, 17, Jametown, KY was operating a 1999 Volkswagen and was attempting a left turn onto Hale's Highway when she pulled into the path of a 1999 Chevy Cavalier being operated by 55 year old Elvin York of Russell Springs, KY. Coe was not injured. A passenger in the Coe vehicle, 17 year old Nicholas Coe of Jamestown, KY was transported by private vehicle to the Russell County Hospital for treatment of minor injuries. He was treated and released. Elvin York was transported to Russell County Hospital, were he was also treated and released. All occupants were belted.
