NOTE on TAXES: City will complete two annexations, amend building code, and will be voting on adoption of 4% overall property tax rate increase, joining the Adair Fiscal Court and the Adair County School District in seeking the higher rate, which, because of increased valuations, will still actually mean lower rates for most property categories. The Adair Ambulance Board and Library Board opted for the even lower Compensating rate -CM
