LWC Cheerleaders camp Sept. 22-25 2008; new pageant coming
LWC Cheerleaders will be doing the 2nd annual cheer camp September 22-25, 2008, at Tumble Towne again this year. Anyone insterested should call me at (270) 250-2715 or come and pick up registration form at Tumble Towne. Also, this year for Downtown Days, I have been appointed director of a new event. I am the Kentucky Festival Pageant Director for our festival pageant this year. We will be having a pageant at the 2008 Downtown Days The winners and 1st runner up will go to the Kentucky Festival State pageant in Lexington November 22-23, 2008 and represent Adair County. Downtown Days has had pageants in the past, but never one that qualifies the winners to go to state. This is a really big thing and Rhonda Loy the city and I think it will bring alot of people here for Downtown Days this year. Anyone interested can pick up registration forms at City Hall, Tumble Towne or Tara's Salon. They can also go to kentuckyfestivalpageants.com and pull the application off the internet.
