Pumpkin Festival needs more outhouses for 2008 race To ColumbiaMagazine via Metcalfe Co. Chamber of Commerce: The Metcalfe County Pumpkin Festival in Edmonton, KY, is just around the corner, on Saturday, October 4, 2008. I would love to see theexcitement for the Out House Race thst we had the very 1st year. Lastyear we opened to race up to children and they had a blast. The onlyproblem was that we did not have enough out houses. If you have raced in the past I encourage You to get a team together and come have some fun. Fot the adult race you must be 16 or older. This is open to men and women. The childrens division will be open for ages 10 to 15 with parentspermission. If you do not wish to use the outhouse that you have please considerletting someone else use it. If you wish to participate or loan your out house please call the Edmonton-Metcalfe County Chamberoffice at (270) 432-3222. Thanks, Martha Bragg This story was posted on 2008-09-06 08:07:32
