ACHD and Extension service in Healthful Living partnership

The Adair County Health Department Diabetes and Health Education programs are partnering with the Extension Office to present Healthful Living: Learning to Prevent and Control Obesity, Diabetes and Other Chronic Diseases through Healthful Living. This is an eight week program of educational and interactive classes on nutrition, physical activity, diabetes, heart disease and weight loss.

Sessions will be on Mondays 5-6:00pmCT and will include a healthy recipe with food preparation tips and physical activity. The program is free to all participants, but we ask that you register by September 8, 2008, by calling (270) 384-2317. Classes will be held at the Extension office. Please join us for a guided tour of healthful living. -JELAINE PHILLIPS
