Obituary: William Edward (Eb) Taylor, 64

Mr. Taylor was an employee of Stephens Pipe & Steel and was an avid hunter and fisherman

William Edward "Eb" Taylor, 64, 114 Fox Point Road, Jamestown, KY, formerly of the Pellyton Community in Adair County, passed away Thursday, July 17, 2008, at 9:54pmCT at University Hospital in Louisville, KY.

The funeral service will be Monday, June 21, 2008, at 11:00amCT at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg ST, Columbia, KY, with the Rev. Dan Durham officiating.



He was July 30, 1943, the son of the late Joseph Edward and Deltrice Giles Taylor of the Pellyton Community.He is survived by the following:
  • One daughter: Robin Taylor, Campbellsville, KY

  • Two sons: Bradley S. Taylor, Campbellsville, KY; and Chris of Jamestown, KY

  • One brother: Garnett Taylor and his wife Loueda, Russell Springs, KY

  • Four sisters: Retha Miller and her husband, Jack, Knifley, KY; Margie White, Liberty, KY; Mary Lou Cunningham an dher husband, Jr., Russell Springs, KY: and Gladys Bates and her husband JIm, Dunnville, KY

  • A special friend: Phyllis Sullivan and her son, Wayne, Jamestown, KY

  • One aunt: Martha Jones, Columbia, KY

  • And a host of other relatives and friends
He worked at Stephens Pipe & Steel and was an avid hunter and fisherman.

Interment will be in Pellyton Cemetery.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy take the form of a donation to the family funeral home.

Visitation will be after 4:30pmCT, Sunday, July 20, 2008, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg ST, Columbia, KY.
