Glens Fork, KY soldier graduates at Ft. Bragg, SC

James Buchanan of Glensfork, KY graduated from Army Basic Training in Ft. Jackson, SC on June 27, 2008.

He is now stationed in Ft. Gordon, GA where he has begun 20 weeks of study and training in Computer Detection Systems Repair.



James is a graduate of Adair County High School Class of 2006, where his main interests were Information Technology Courses, and participating in the Ag/FFA competitions of Auctioneering.

After High School, he attended Somerset Community College for one year, continuing study in Technology Courses.

James is the son of Linda Collins (and Mike) of Glensfork, and Danny Buchanan (and Harriett) of Russell Springs.
