Janice Delaine Corbin, 68, Columbia, KY, passed away early Wednesday, July 2, 2008, at the Taylor Regional Hospital, Campbellsville, KY, after an illness.

The funeral service will be Friday, July 4, 2008, at 1:00pmCT, at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Bro. David Coffey officiating. Burial will be in Haven Hill Cemetery.



She was born on August 9, 1939, to the late Lewis Frank Patton and Eula Pike Corbin.

She was a registered nurse and worked 25 years for the Dr. Phil Aaron Medical Center. She was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert and Larry, and two sisters, Margaret Sinclair and Margie Doris Patton.She is survived by the following:
  • Three sons: Steve Corbin and wife Aleina, Allan Corbin, and Greg Corbin and his wife Melissa, all of Columbia, KY

  • One daughter: Rita Neat and her husband Jeff, Columbia, KY

  • One sister: Sharon Yarberry of Columbia, KY

  • Special friend: Carolyn Jones, Columbia, KY

  • And 2 special aunts, eight grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends
Visitation will be after 1:30pmCT on Thursday, July 3, 2008, at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville ST, Columbia, KY.

Grissom-Martin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
