Writer finds much lower price gas in Pigeon Forge, TN

$4.00 a gallon gas in Nashville; on trip, writer realized life-long dream to go to the Grand Ole Opry
Dear Ed:

My husband and I took a vacation last week; we traveled to Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. Gas down there was 3.17 a gallon for regular unleaded.

Then, later in the week, we traveled from Pigeon Forge, Tennessee to Nashville, Tennessee. The price of regular unleaded gas down in Nashville was 3.98; on Thursday when we arrived, but on Saturday morning when we left to come back home to Good Ole Green County; gas had gone up to 4.00 a gallon for regular unleaded.

While we were in Nashville, we attended The Grand Old Opry. I had waited for 30+ years to talk my husband into going to Nashville, and with going to the Opry, my hope; dream, and life long wish finally came true.

It was an awesome show. I would highly recommend it to anyone of any age.

Keep up the fantastic work that you all do; and still love to see all of the pictures of our past; as well as all of the beautiful photos of all of the flowers that I have seen this summer.

Sincerely,
Fay Wright
