Feedback: Memories of Uncle Pete, Aunt Jane's store

Pete Mcqueary Family Photo/Jason Harmon Story

Jason Harmon:

Thank you so much for sharing this old photo with CM.

My grandmother, Nancy Jane McQueary Burton, was a sister to Pete McQueary.

I grew up as a child visiting Uncle Pete's store down the ridge from our home and Granny Jane's.

I never knew about all of Uncle Pete's special talents. As a child, I was more interested in what he had on his shelves in his country store and what my momma and/or daddy was willing to let me have at the moment.

I will share this picture with my brother Frankie, and he will let everyone know about it being on the CM website as I am not able to right now.

Please continue to share with us your wonderful stories and pictures!
