List of volunteer groups for PRIDE day growing By Ed Waggener The list of individuals and organizations volunteering to work on Saturday, April 12, 2008, has now reached 28 groups and individuals with a total of 178 people, according to Lisa Lee, coordinator of the Saturday, April 12, 2008 Adair County PRIDE Clean-up Day for the office of Adair County Judge Executive Ann Melton. "We're hoping the number grows to at least 200 people," Lee said. Volunteer groups and individuals should call the CJE's office at (270) 384-4703, she said. The April 12, 2008 day starts with coffee, orange juice and donuts at 8:00am in Columbia, and finishes up in a big clean-up rally and celebration at Mt. Carmel Boat Ramp at noon on Saturday, April 12, 2008. The theme for this year's clean-up is Pride Today for a Brighter Tomorrow in Adair County. A list as of 3:06pmCT, Thursday, April 3, 2008, follows. It will be update at intervals as new volunteer names are added.
