    Spring bug on yellow dandelion

2008-04-01 - Adair County, KY - Photo By Betty Sue Jasper.
"Little green bug with black polka dots on a yellow dandelion," is the caption Betty Sue Jasper gives this day brightener. That's a good enough species ID for us, but if any bugologist wants to give the scientific title, let us know. Update: The Adair County Public Library has positively identified Betty Sue's little green bug with black polka dots as a spotted cucumber beetle.
