Project Graduation will hold 1st meeting Aprii 3, 2008 Organizers are asking for community help with prizes, cash to help event By Cathy Luttrell, Treasurer Project Graduation will hold its first organizational meeting Thursday, April 3, 2008, at the Adair County High School library at 6:00pmCT. Project Graduation is an annual event held to honor our high school graduates. This is the nineteenth year that juniors, seniors, and thier invited guest will enjoy a safe, alcohol/drug free Project Graduation party following graduation. This event signifies the end of an era in these graduates' lives and is the last time for many of them to be together before embarking on their post high school lives. This memeorable and entertaining event would not be possible without the collaborative efforts of community members, businesses, parents and educators. This special event sends a clear message to our students that we are proud of their hard work and accomplishments and that we care about their safety. In previous years, your generosity has provided valuable prizes, cash, contests, games, food and fun. Since this event is supported throughout the community, we once again are asking for your help to continue this worthwhile tradition for our students. Anyone interested in assisting with this event is asked to attend this meeting or contact Brenda Mann, (270) 384-5545 after 4:30pmCT or Ellen Zornes anytime at (270) 384-3400 or (270) 250-3400 As always, we appreciate all our community does for our kids.
