John Adair Academic Team places 1st in FPS in 10th Region!

Way to go team!!! On Saturday, March 22, John Adair's Academic Team competed in the 2008 10th Region Governor's Cup Competition.The team came away with individual medals as well as team placements.

Results are as follows:
  • Daniel Franklin, 5th place Social Studies
  • Anna Parson, 5th place Arts and Humanities
  • Amber Turner, 1st place Composition
Future Problem Solving team came away with 1st place, a first time accomplishment for John Adair's team.


Future Problem Solving team members are Amber Turner, Sarah McQuaide, Rebekah York, and Kaitlyn Grant.

These individual and team wins gave John Adair a 3rd place finish over-all. For Regional competition, students had to place or win a medal at the District level to compete at Regional Competition. Students competing Saturday included Timothy Watson, Coby Taylor, Daniel Franklin, Anna Parson, Sarah McQuaide, Rebekah York, Amber Turner, Hannah Cockerham, Kynday Caldwell, and Kaitlyn Grant.

Coaches are Jeanna Pike, Mary McQuaide, and Betty Knifley.

Regional Competition marks the end of the Elementary Academic Team's season.
