Camp Casey Kentucky Adventure class visits Frankfort, KY

With one photo
By Dana Harmon
The Kentucky Adventure class is made up of 3rd grade students and meet every Wednesday Afternoon as part of the 21st CCLC Camp Casey after school program.

They learn about all the great places around the state of Kentucky that there are to visit. As an culminating activity they take Saturday feild trips once a month to visit some of the places they have learned about in class.

These boys and girls traveled to Frankfort to visit the State Capital where they received certificates naming them Honorary Pages of the House of Representatives and the Senate.

Making the trip were Grant Cockerham, Sara Dunbar, Christopher Franklin, Noah Ollery, Michael Mackenzie, Zakia Miller, Cole Schmidt, Makala Slater, Garret Waggener.

They also visited the Daniel Boone memorial. Mrs. Pam Geisselhardt is the leader of this group of Kentucky adventurers. We are very happy to be a part of teaching these students how very proud they should be of the great state of Kentucky.
