Obituary: Signora Pelston, 89, member Antioch UMC OBITUARIES Mrs. Pelston a member of a large, highly respected South Adair County family. She was the matriarch of a large family, with 34 living descendants Signora Pelston, 89, a resident of Summit Manor Health & Rehab in Columbia, KY, passed away Wednesday, March 5, 2008, at 11:45pm, at Summit Manor after an illness. The funeral service will be Sunday, March 9, 2008, at 2:00pm at the Antioch United Methodist Church, 7913 Burkesville RD, (KY 61), Columbia, KY, between Flatwoods and Sparksville, KY. Rev. Ronnie Dooley and Rev. Russell Janes are the officiating clergy. The family requests visiting after 4:30pm on Saturday, March 8, 2008 at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg ST, Columbia, KY. She was born November 18, 1919 the daughter of the late Amos Jackson and Armintie Dickson Coomer of Adair County, KY. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alton Pelston on March 13, 1982.
