Obituary: Whitman Hadley, 72 COLUMBIAMAGAZINE.COM OBITUARIES Mr. Hadley was a member of Bearwallow United Methodist Church and of a large, respected Adair County family. He was a farmer. He will be accorded military honors by Columbia VFW Post 6097 for his US Navy service Whitman Hadley, 72, 860 Oak Grove Road, Columbia, KY, passed away Monday, February 4, 2008, at 1:50amCT at Kindred Health Care in Louisville, KY. The funeral service will be Thursday, February 7, 2008, at 1:00pmCT at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home with Bro. David Coffey and Bro. Troy Long the officiating clergy. He was born January 2, 1936, the son of the late Robert A. and Mary V. Sullivan Hadley. He is survived by his wife, Doris Cowan Hadley, Columbia, KY, and the following:
Interment will be in Bearwallow Cemetery with military honors by Columbia VFW Post 6097.
