Dan Wilson: Tornadoes possible for Tues., Feb. 5, 2008

Suggests NOAA Weather radio, AM/FM radio, flashlights, batteries in readiness in case of storm

By Daniel Wilson
Weather Specialist at 92.7 The WAVE

History is expected to repeat itself Tuesday, February 5, 2008, evening as a powerful cold front will move from west to east, bringing with it a squall line formation of thunderstorms, damaging winds, and possibly a few isolated tornadoes.

We continue to follow this developing weather system and as we make our way into Tuesday, the dynamics should be in place for a night of windy weather, some of which may be destructive.

The next 24 few hours will give us a pretty good idea as to what we can expect on Tuesday night. It is important to remember storm safety tips and be prepared in the event a storm warning is issued or if conditions are bad where you are.

A NOAA Weather Radio, AM/FM Radio and flashlights and batteries are a few of things necessary and helpful during a severe storm or tornado.
