Obituary: James (Jim) Edward Gray, 76

James (Jim) Edward Gray, 76, Madison, TN, passed away Saturday, February 2, 2008.

The funeral service will be Tuesday, February 5, 2008, at 12noonCT at Spring Hill Funeral Home, 5110 Gallatin Road, Nashville, TN, with Rev. Dwyane Tyus and Sgt. Darrin Crowder officiating.



He is survived by his loving wife, Jean Burton Gray, formerly of Adair County, and the following:
  • Two sisters: Annie Hayes and June Heitkotter

  • Four sisters-in-law: Helen Curry and her husband Gilbert, and Kay and her husband Ray, all of Columbia, KY; Trisha Holt of Campbellsville, KY; and Marie Curry and her husband Marshall, Louisville, KY

  • Also surviving were several nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Jim was a member of St. Luke Cumberland Presbyterian Church and was retired from the U.S. Army.

The funeral service will be Tuesday, February 5, 2008, at 12noonCT at Spring Hill Funeral Home, 5110 Gallatin Road, Nashville, TN, with Rev. Dwayne Tyus and Sgt. Darrin Crowder officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Luke Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

Visitation is Monday, February 4, 2008, from 5:00-8:00pmCT, at Spring Hill Funeral Home, 5110 Gallatin Road, Nashville, TN.
