Fire destroys Rowetown Road house By Brandon Harvey, Public Information officer BAVFD Special ColumbiaMagazine.com story The Breeding Area Volunteer Fire Department responded to an abandoned house fire at 490 Rowetown Road on Monday January 21, 2008. The call came in at 2:32pm., Monday, January 21, 2008. Firefighters responded quickly and found the house was completely engulfed. Fifteen BAVFD firefighters were on the scene for an hour and forty five minutes.
