Campbellsville and Greensburg, KY banks rebadged Forcht Bank Company also has large holdings in Adair County, KY Forcht Group of Kentucky, headed by Corbin businessman Terry Forcht, and which owns radio station WAIN AM & FM, Adair County's oldest radio station, Columbia, as well as a minority stake in the Bank of Columbia, among other Adair County, KY businesses, is changing the name of 10 Kentucky banks to Forcht Bank, according to a story in this morning's Lexington Herald, on newsstands in Columbia today. Two of the banks are in the Greater Columbia Area. They are Campbellsville National Bank in Campbellsville, KY, and Deposit Bank & Trust Company in Greensburg, KY. Signs are scheduled to be changed by tomorrow, Monday, December 31, 2007. Forcht holdings in Adair County include Land Company of Columbia, Inc., and Columbia Bancshares. The company's mountain peaks icon is widely recognizable at financial services businesses in the Columbia area. Forcht Group of Kentucky is also involved in retailing, health care, data and web services for the banking industry, construction, and the horse industry as well as banking and financial and real estate.
