Artists' Open House Dec. 1 and Dec. 2, 2007

Adair County Artists Open House events are scheduled for next Saturday and Sunday, December 1 & 2, 2007.

Highland Raku Studio, and The Heart's Image Studio/Gallery will be open on Saturday, December 1, 2007, from 10:0am to 5:00pmCT and on Sunday, December 2, 2007, from 1:00pm to 5:00pmCT.

At Highland Raku Studio, located at 7917 Burkesville Road (KY 61), works featured will be by:


  • Henrietta and Jeff Scott. Raku pottery and watercolor paintings
  • Stever Scherer. Miniature glass sculpture
  • Donnie Perry. Pottery.
At The Heart's Image Studio/Gallery, located on 980 G Taylor Road off old Highway 80 at the five-mile marker, works featured will be by:
  • David Waltz. Ceramic sculpture/functional potter
  • Peggy/Fred Spoon. Original pens and pencil sets.
  • Katina Johnson. Watercolor paintings and original greeting cards
The artists invite everyone to escape crowded malls, visit the studios, and locate one of a kind gifts.

Refreshments will be served at both locations.

Steve Scherer will demonstrate potter on wheel on Saturday, December 1, 2007, from 1:00-4:00pmCT and on Sunday, December 2, 2007, at Highland Raku Studio.
