Jaycees Radio Auction is December 5, 6, 2007 Donations of items for auction are being taken now By Greg Thomas Special ColumbiaMagazine.com story The Adair County Jaycees, along with WAIN Radio FM 93.5, would like to announce the dates of the annual Jaycee Radio Auction. The auction will be held on Wednesday, December 5, 2007, and Thursday, December 6, 2007 from 6:00pm to 10:00pmCT, nightly. This year we also putting three of the items that werecarved out by the Chainsaw Carver during the Adair County Fairfor action. Photos of those items will be publicized later in local media. The money raised from this auction and other events during the year help the Jayceesassist othersduring the holiday season and during the year. The Jaycees will be taking names of families or people that might be in need up until December 15, 2007. You may contact Jamie New, the Chairperson of the "Helping the Needing at Christmas" program at (270) 250-4037. If you know of a family, people, or a senior citizen that might not be able to have a enjoyable Christmas becasue of finicial needs please let Jamie know and she will work with you to get some information and later a committe that is made up of many representives will review all the needs we recieve to make sure that all are help that can be and hopefully no one will be missed. If you have new toys you would like to donate to this cause you may drop them off at Flowers N Things on Campbellsville Street, Grimsley's Jewelry on the Public Square, or at Thomas Photography on Burkesville Street.
