Charles Lemons art on exhibit at Gosser now By Christi Curl Special to ColumbiaMagazine.com Artist Charles Lemons of Holmes Bend area of Adair County has an exhibit of his work at Cambellsville University Art Gallery from October 15 through November 5, 2007. A reception was held Monday night, October 15, in his honor. There was a wonderful turn out. The display is mainly a collection of his Southwest and Wildlife art which he has displayed in Adair County over the past several years. He has been an artist since childhood and participates in such art shows as Giles House events, Christmas in Columbia, Cow Days in Greensburg, and Glendale Arts Weekend. In 2004, as many remember, he was one of the local artists commissioned to paint the Adair County Courthouse to be made into a print and sold to the public. Everyone is invited to view this wonderful collection of art. The gallery is located across rom the Gosser Fine Arts center. The exhibit is open to the public for viewing Monday- Friday at various times. For details and times, contact CU at (270) 789-5233. This story was posted on 2007-10-16 04:41:20
