Letter: Hodgenville will be busy place this weekend

About: Lincoln Commission Plans Two Day Celebration in Kentucky
Hodgenville is getting a big makeover on the Larue County Square, including a new roundabout

To ColumbiaMagazine.com

:In case anyone wants to go enjoy the festivities this weekend and see all of the improvements they have been making around the Square in Hodgensville, here is a link to the schedule for their 34th Annual Fall Lincoln Days Celebration. Click here.

They are redoing the area around the Lincoln statue as well as the paved areas and adding what looks like cobblestone accents, changing the square into a roundabout. If you haven't been to Hodgensville in a while, it sure looks different!

I spoke with some of the officials there last week. They are working hard to get things into shape for the festival and the dedication of the new roundabout. They expect somewhere in the neighborhood of 15,000 people this weekend.
