KHD maintenance for Adair, Sept. 24-28, 2007

Department of Highways personnel plan to conduct the followingmaintenance activities in Adair County for the week of September 24, 2007 - September 28, 2007:


Monday, September 24, 2007: 1) Chip & Seal KY 1952, and, 2) Extend a private entrance on KY 2982 @ 1.4 MP

Tuesday, September 25, 2007: 1) Chip & Seal KY 2968, and, 2) Replace a private entrance on KY 80

Wednesday, September 26, 2007: 1) Chip & Seal KY 901, and, 2) Repair a cross drain on KY 92 @ 0.8 MP

Thursday, September 27, 2007: Chip & Seal KY 1323

Friday, Sept 28, 2007: Chip & Seal KY 768
Maintenance activities are scheduled on a tentative basis and are subject to change depending on weather conditions, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.

Motorists are urged to use caution in work areas, and to be alert for flaggers, workers, equipment which may block a portion of the roadway, and other items of concern in work zones. They should pay attention to warning signs alerting them of the roadwork and obey work zone speed limits where applicable.

The Kentucky Department of Highways maintains nearly 281 miles of highways in Adair County.
