That's how Mary Keltner, Gradyville, KY, reacted to the news in CM from Phil Hanna that the next Lindsey Wilson College Cultural Affairs Series event will be the Harmonius Wall, with their Gypsy Jazz repertoire. Harmonious Wail is a music group from Madison WI, which plays gypsy swing music in he spirit of Django Reinhardt. The performance is at 7:00pmCT at Slider Recital Hall, LWC, and is part of the 2007 Fall Cultural Affairs Series at LWC. Django Reinhardt and Stephen Grappelli performed at the Hot Club of France during the 30s and 40s and developed the style of music known as gypsy swing or gypsy jazz.
